Cranberry Coast season finale tonight!
The Cranberry Coast Concerts' Year of the Piano comes to its conclusion this weekend with a program of romantic-era piano concertos performed on two pianos.
Pianists Kirk Whipple, Marilyn Morales, and Marilyn Brown will each perform the piano solo on one piano while another plays the orchestral accompaniment on a second.
Marilyn Brown will perform the dramatic first movement of Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor.
Cranberry Coast Concerts co-founder Marilyn Morales plays the Piano Concerto 1. in C Major by Ludwig Van Beethoven, and her husband and fellow co-founder Kirk Whipple will play Frederic Chopin's Piano Concerto in F minor.
The concert will be held in Wareham at the Community of Christ Church, The Tabernacle, 339 Onset Avenue at 7 p.m.
If you miss it, however, repeat performances are at the Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford on Saturday at 7 p.m., and the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro on Sunday at 4 p.m.
