Nov 15, 2011

The A.D. Makepeace Company—in conjunction with the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers' Association, Trucchi's Supermarkets and "Edible South Shore Magazine"—invite cooks to participate in the third annual "Make It Better With Cranberries" Cooking Contest.

Entries will be received on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Tihonet Village Market between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at Trucchi's Supermarket, 534 County Street in Taunton between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Recipes must include a cranberry product (i.e.: fresh cranberries, cranberry juice, cranberry sauce). The contest is open to all ages and skill levels. First, second and third place prize-winners will be selected in both the adult and student/youth (8-16) category. Winning recipes will also be printed in the 2012 Edition of the "Make It Better With Cranberries Cookbook."
