Dan Lawson band wraps up a musical June

Jun 9, 2015

The Dan Lawson Band will wrap up a month of music at Buzzards Play Productions on June 27.

The band brings a blend of rock, blues, jazz, and funk in what it calls its “Dan Lawson Sound.” Lawson is a singer-songwriter who has shared the stage with rock performers and bands like Mark Farner, Mark Mendoza of Twisted Sister, and The Four Tops. Lawson’s latest album, “Soldiers of Fortune,” received Album of the Year (Group) at the Limelight Music Awards.

Lawson brings with him Connecticut native Jason Adams, a Berklee graduate, who has performed with the Berklee Visual Orchestra, and other solo bass and laptop performances in and around Boston.

Skip Fischer, who has toured with performers such as Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley, will be on drums.

Doors are at 8 p.m. Tickets are $13 online, and $15 at the box office. For tickets, or more information, visit www.brownpapertickets.com/event, or call 508-591-3065.
