Rachel’s Lakeside, a banquet hall in Dartmouth, will host the Wareham High School prom on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

The location was chosen by the Class of 2024 for its attractive lakeside location, its size and its proximity to Wareham. Rachel’s Lakeside is 30 minutes from Wareham and can hold 210 people.

High School Principal Scott Palladino said one of the few requirements he has for a prom’s location is that it be within 45 minutes of the school, for safety reasons. The prom must also take place on a Saturday. 

The School Committee unanimously voted to approve the location at its meeting on Thursday, May 4. 

This year’s Wareham High School prom will be held at the Cape Cod Club in Falmouth on Saturday, May 13.
