David C. Tatlow, 71
David C. Tatlow, 71, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on March 10, 2019 at North Collier Hospital in Naples, FL due to COPD with complications. Dave grew up in Onset, MA and graduated from Middletown High School in RI. He attended Cape Cod Community College until drafted into the Army. After initial training with the Military Police, he was assigned to Vietnam. While in Vietnam he obtained the rank of Sergeant and awarded with two Army Commendation Medals, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
After the Army, Dave owned businesses in Baltimore, Annapolis and Naples. He also worked for Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. David was a people person who became a friend of everyone he met. He loved and enjoyed family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Harold & Mattie (Tatlow) Walsh, sisters Anne Newcomb, Ervina Maki, Ethel Bump and his life time partner Bob Wentz. He is survived by his sister Marjorie Mann, his brothers William Tatlow, Hal Tatlow, and his very good friend Dotty Speed.
Dave was interned April 5, 2019 at the National Cemetery on Cape Cod in Bourne, MA, with Military Honors in the presence of family members.
