David Sayward passed away April 2nd, 2024 at St. Luke's hospital in New Bedford.

He was brother to Jonathan Sayward, Jessica Sayward and Julie Shipman, father to Laura Sayward, uncle to Kerry Spurr, Jennifer Sayward, Jaime Sayward and Matthew Shipman, and grandfather to Zoe Iandoli.

He was predeceased by his parents Jonathan Sayward and Edna White and his son Paul Sayward.

David loved music, both creating it and listening to it. He was an amazing guitar player and singer, playing in a few bands throughout his life as well as making albums. He also loved mystery books, Hockey, zany comedy, movies and spending time with his friends and family.

David was a kind and generous person, as well as a wonderful father, and he will be greatly missed.

a memorial service for David will be held at Nemasket Hill cemetery, Middleboro, Friday Sept. 13th. at 10 am.
