Debrah S. Thomas, 70, of Swifts Beach, died Monday Sept. 27, 2010 from Pulmonary Fibrosis while in the comfort of her home. She was the wife of devoted husband Walter M. Thomas for 50 years.

Debrah was born May 26, 1940 in North Attleboro and grew up in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Helen and Joseph Vassalotti. She graduated from Bentley College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Debrah worked for several years as an accountant for Suddard Ford and was a member of the Wareham Finance Committee.

Living in Wareham since 1971, she enjoyed walking the beaches for sea glass, holidays - especially Christmas - traveling, and tennis. She loved anything and everything to do with her grandchildren; playing games, field days, attending their sporting events, concerts, etc.

She was the most wonderful, caring and supportive mother to daughter Rebecca Bonfiglio and her husband David Bonfiglio, of Wareham, and son David Thomas, of Greenfield. She was the greatest and most proud "Grammie" to Rachel and Ryan Bonfiglio, who were her shining stars and light of her life. She was a loving sister to Leslie Partington, her husband Donald, and their family, of Bellingham, and the late Pamela Heylin, of Martha's Vineyard. Debrah was very thankful for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
