The Wareham Free Library’s Digital Book Club will be discussing “NOS4A2” by Joe Hill at its December meeting.

“NOS4A2” is a supernatural suspense novel the library described as “spine-tingling” and “bone-chilling” in its description. Hill is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Fireman and Horns.

The club will meet virtually at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Copies are available at the circulation desk and on Libby/Overdrive at https://bit.ly/3n29udo.

Curbside pickup service is available at both the main library and the Spinney Memorial Branch. Library users can simply put a hold on a book — whether it’s at the Wareham library or another library in the state — and wait to be notified when the book is ready to be picked up. When the book is available, a patron can call to arrange a time to have the book brought out to his or her car in the parking lot.

Curbside pickup is available at the main library location on Marion Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Limited curbside pickup is available at the Spinney Memorial Branch on Onset Avenue from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

The library will be closed for the holidays on Dec. 24-26, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2.

Library Director George Ripley runs the book club and for more information, people are encouraged to email at gripley@sailsinc.org
