Dennis M. Reardon, 63, of Quincy, died Monday, June 23, 2014 at the V.A. Medical Center in Manchester, NH, by complications with ALS (Lou Gerhig’s Disease)

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John J. & Agnes (Barry) Reardon. He graduated from Brockton High School in 1969 and was a previous resident of Abington, Wareham and Florida. He was a resident of Quincy for the last eight years.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, three daughters, Laura Falcone of Milford, NH, Traci Reardon of Hudson, NH and Kristen Lisa of Windham, NH; two brothers, John J. Reardon, III of Wareham and Robert Reardon of Dennis; a sister, Maureen Reardon of W. Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Amanda, Alia, Kendra, Joseph and Michael. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Daniel T. Reardon. He also had many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reardon was worked for many years for Done-Rite Fence, a company owned by his family. While living in Quincy, Mr. Reardon was a security guard for United Security, Inc.

Mr. Reardon served in the U.S. Army and National Guard in Massachusetts and Florida for 20 years. He served in the 726th Maintenance Battalion at Camp Edwards in Bourne. He enjoyed line dancing, camping, watching Westerns, and having fun in every aspect of his life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be Monday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham from 5 to 8 p.m.
