The Community Resources Network is asking for the public's support in providing Thanksgiving baskets to at-need families in Wareham, Rochester, Marion, Buzzards Bay, and Onset.

For the past 19 years, the Community Resources Network (CRN) has prepared a basket containing turkey and all-the-fixings of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for hundreds of area families.

Donations of any nonperishable food may be delivered to the First Congregational Church Hall, 1 Gibbs Avenue, Wareham, on Sunday, November 21 beginning at 1 p.m.  All contributions will be welcome, including monetary donations to help purchase additional items needed for the baskets.

The baskets will be distributed on Tuesday, November 23 at the Congregational Church Hall.  To submit names of families who may truly need a basket, please call the Network office at 508-295-0080 between 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., Monday through Friday beginning on November 3.
