The Town of Wareham, Onset Bay Association, Wareham Village Association, and the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce have again collaborated to present the fireworks in Onset Village, scheduled on Saturday, July 2. The Onset-Wareham Fireworks Committee is currently raising money to fund the fun and festive tradition.

"We appreciate support from the town on this endeavor, and have full confidence we can raise the funding necessary for the fireworks," said Mary Lou Payton, who co-chairs the committee along with Jackie Lindsey. "We are very committed to making sure the fireworks are in Onset Village each and every year."

The event brings in visitors from all over the region and state.

Donations of any amount can be sent to the Town of Wareham Fireworks Fund, Treasure/Collectors Office, 54 Marion Road, MA 02571.
