Dress Barn brings women's fashion to Wareham
Dress Barn is bringing a new source for women’s fashion to Wareham.
Manager Tracy Sunderland says that the store's traditional customer base has been women who are 35-years old and older, but that she has begun to see a shift in that trend.
“We have been getting a lot of younger people,” she said, attributing this in part to mother/daughter shopping excursions.
Dress Barn is “very customer oriented,” according to Sunderland with a staff that will help customers to “build outfits.” They carry sizes 4-24 so ladies of many shapes and sizes can find something fashionable to wear. Younger people just entering the workforce can get a hand in choosing outfits for job interviews.
Dress Barn also has V.I.P shopping parties which customers may schedule in advance, and for which Dress Barn will supply invitations and V.I.P service. The hostess will save 25% off their total purchase, and guests receive 15% off everything they buy at the party. With a beautiful dressing room with pale pink walls, high ceilings, and chandeliers it feels more like an expensive living room than a dressing room.
On December 21, Dress Barn will hold also “men’s night” where the staff will assist men in choosing some clothing for their significant others in advance of Christmas.
