Wareham first responders quickly extinguished a dumpster fire near a medical billing office on Cranberry Highway Wednesday afternoon.

Wareham firefighters and police responded to 2527 Cranberry Highway at about 4:30 p.m. for a “fully involved” dumpster fire, according to emergency broadcasts.The dumpster is located approximately 25 feet from the building. Firefighters knocked down the blaze, which was contained to the dumpster.

It’s unclear at this time what started the fire.
