An Eagle Scout thanks the community
To the editor:
On Saturday, Aug. 9 I completed my Eagle Scout Project at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry located at St. Patrick's Church in Wareham. We built shelves for the warehouse section, we built a long counter with storage underneath in the main section and we added a hand rail to the steps going in.
I would like to thank Home Depot and E.L. Morse Lumber for the materials they donated. I would like to thank Wareham House of Pizza for the donation they made of pizza for lunch.
I would like to thank everyone who donated food, we collected 400 pounds of food for the new shelves!
Thank you to Bill Oaks of Lawns N More for donating your time to deliver the materials, and a huge thank you to Rick Peloquin of Mighty Oak Carpentry for your expertise in wood working!
Thanks to everyone that helped with my Eagle Scout Project, I couldn't have done it without all of you.
