Earl A. Fowler, Jr., 47, of New Bedford died June 16 at Kindred Transitional Care at Forestview.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of Earl A. Fowler, Sr. of East Wareham and the late Maxine C. (Pina) Fowler. Earl graduated from Brockton High School and worked as a prep cook for several area restaurants.

Survivors include his father, Earl A. Fowler, Sr. of East Wareham; his step-mother, Vicki Fowler of East Wareham; his brothers, Mario J. Fowler and his wife Rosa of New Bedford and Eric J. Fowler of Providence, Rhode Island; his step-sisters, Sherry Noe of East Wareham and Lisa Noe-Higgins of Worcester; his step-brother, Henry Noe of Falmouth; his great nieces, Serenity DeSouza and Dallas Lopes and many aunts, nieces and nephews, uncles and cousins. He was also predeceased by his step-father, the late Walter Barboza.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.
