Eastern Bank donates $5,000 for Vietnam Moving Wall in Wareham

Eastern Bank presented Friends of Wareham Veterans a check for $5,000 for the Vietnam Moving Wall scheduled to come to Wareham in August.
"We are pleased and delighted to support the veterans," said Rose Berry, branch manager. "That's Eastern. We do good things."
Berry said she is glad the bank has this opportunity to invest in a "great community."
Jean Sarnelli, president of Friends of Wareham Veterans and Eleanor Martin, clerk of the group, accepted the check on Tuesday. Sarnelli said there is still a lot of work to be done in raising funds for the wall.
