'Easy Roses' topic at Wareham Garden Club on May 11

Apr 29, 2017

The Wareham Garden Club invites the public to its next meeting, set for May 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Patrick’s Church Hall, 82 High St., for a program called “Easy Roses.”

The guest speaker will be Teresa Mosher, one of the leading garden and rose consultants in New England.

Mosher’s passion for flowers, especially roses, started as a child. That’s when her father would start seedlings and plant them in the family garden in spring. For Mosher, the garden became a place where she and her dad felt most at peace, according to a Wareham Garden Club press release.

Mosher is currently the president of the New England Rose Society and spends her free time as a Horticultural Rose Judge and Consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society.

The Wareham Garden Club meets on the second Thursday of each month with the exception of the summer months. Guests are welcome to attend the monthly meetings at no charge. The Wareham Garden Club encourages prospective new members to attend a meeting and consider joining.
