Eat pancakes, meet Santa, help the high school Winter Color Guard

Nov 28, 2011

The Wareham High School Winter Color Guard will host its fourth annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa fundraiser on December 10 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Wareham High School cafeteria.

Diners will enjoy a holiday breakfast with ol' Saint Nick, which includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausages, and either juice or coffee.

Santa will pose for photos and games of BINGO will be played throughout the morning.  Two bicycles, a $100 gift card to Wareham Crossing, and New England Patriots tickets will be raffled at the event, among other prizes.

Attendees can also meet some of the members of the guard, which brought home a division title for the first time in four years last season.

Tickets cost $5 in advance or $7 at the door. To purchase tickets, call Annmarie at 774-263-0002 or e-mail SBJ08@yahoo.com.

All proceeds will benefit the Wareham High School Winter Color Guard program. The guard is entirely self-funded and must raise approximately $10,000 for uniforms, equipment, show fees, transportation costs, and staff for each winter season.
