Edward G. Thomas, 72, of Wareham, died June 2, at home. He was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Kosaftos) Thomas.

He was born in Boston and lived in Medford before moving to Wareham 25 years ago. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Edward is survived by his three children: Tracey Reardon and husband, Eric, of North Hampton, NH;  Karen Thomas of Waltham; Edward Thomas and wife, Diana Guzzi-Thomas, of Newton;  their mother, Katy Tavolieri of Brighton; and 7 grandchildren: Shayne, Billy, Jake, Sydney, Aidan, Ava, and Caleb.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
