Emily Elizabeth Dee, 33, of South Easton died March 8 while surrounded by her family. She was born in Boston and lived in Canton for many years before moving to South Easton. She spent the summers in Wareham at Hamilton Beach.

Emily graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton and received a bachelor of science in business administration from Curry College.

She worked as an assistant manager for Stop and Shop in Hyde Park.

Emily enjoyed cooking, baking cookies and cupcakes, grilling, gardening, spending time outside and at the beach and trips to Block Island.

Survivors include her mother, Roberta M. (Casassa) Dee of Wareham; her father, Michael J. Dee and his wife Anne of Norwell; a sister, Kim Gomez and her husband Pete of Dedham; a nephew and godson, Jack Gomez; several aunts and uncles including Edward Casassa of Quincy, and Janice Ragusa of West Roxbury; several cousins.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 13 in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.

Visiting hours are private.
