Energies and enchantments: the psychic fair
Vendors, healers, and readers filled the Lodge of Elks on Saturday during the First Spiritualist Church's bi-annual Holistic Psychic Fair.
The fair began at 10 a.m. with tarot card readers and reiki healers in one area of the building, and vendors in the other. It lasted until 5 p.m. and was open to the public with a $2 entrance free.
The First Spiritualist Church has hosted the fair since 2000.
Each tarot card reading was $20, but the rules were not so set in stone.
Vendors sold items including semi-precious gemstones, handmade mugs, handmade jewelry, and handmade orgone jewelry and designs. Orgonite is a combination of catalyzed resin mixed with copper, metal shavings, crystals and a variety of organix materials like wood, feathers, shells, and botanicals. They serve to negate harmful electric and magnetic fields (EMF) while enhancing feelings of well-being, peace, and clarity of mind.
Missed out on this one? Another one is coming on November 5.
