Evelyn Correia, 70
Evelyn Marie Fowler Correia, 70, was born on Aug. 19, 1945 and died on Jan. 23 with her husband and daughter by her side.
Evelyn was born to Muriel and Robert Fowler (deceased) in Cambridge. She attended St. Peters Elementary School and graduated from Cambridge Rindge and High Latin School. Evelyn went on to earn a bachelors degree in business management from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She spent many good years in Houston, Texas, eventually returning to Massachusetts; where she enjoyed bi-coastal retirement in both Marion and Palm Springs, California with her husband Ernest. Evelyn had a passion for the arts and spent many of her retired days painting, wowing her family and friends with her exemplary culinary skills and volunteering with Marion’s elder services.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Ernest Correia, sisters Barbara Hightower and Margaret Grayson, daughters Tonya Rabouin and Tamika Correia Jacques, nieces Theresa Ann Washington, Tina Fowler and Julia Fowler, nephews Kyle Erickson, Robert Fowler Jr., great nieces, Renita Hart, Deandrea Hart, great nephews, Derrick Washington Jr., Dillon Washington, Devon Washington, Oren Hart and many friends. Her spirit will endure through the love she shared with all that knew her.
