Join Mary Wilson, an educator with Pitter Patter Programs, in an exploration into the ways animals adapt to the winter.

The program, titled “Wonderful Winter: The Wonders of Animals,” will take place at the Wareham Free Library on Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Participants will engage in hands-on, interactive learning, using a variety of observation and documentation tools including winter-themed stories to learn about animals and how they adapt to the winter.

The program is free for families, and is geared toward children ages 2 to 7 with a caregiver.

The program is presented by the Wareham Public Schools Office of Beyond School Time in partnership with the Wareham Free Library. To RSVP, contact Brenda Owen at bowen@wareham.k12.ma.us or at 508-291-3500 ext. 3556.
