Wareham residents awoke to a blanket of snow on the ground this morning, and the snow might continue to fall until Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of snow on Tuesday, a 60% chance of snow on Wednesday, and the snow could keep falling into Thursday. Sunshine is predicted for Friday.
As of Monday afternoon the Wareham Fire Department had only received calls about minor snow-related incidents, and the Onset Fire Department indicated that they had not received a single call all day.
Wareham schools have canceled all evening activities.
