First snowfall of the season

Dec 7, 2023

Wareham had its first snowfall of the season on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Although there wasn’t a lot, and much of it melted by the end of the day, Mother Nature still blanketed the town in a thin layer — creating a whimsical winter wonderland.

The snowfall lightly covered the Remembrance Trees at Besse Park and the Onset Pier, highlighting the decorations and mementos for loved ones.

Many birds joined in on the winter fun at Onset Beach, including a crow and seagulls.
