The Wareham Select Board has named five men to its newly created Golf Course Advisory Committee, meant to aid Town Administrator Derek Sullivan as the town selects a management and maintenance company for Little Harbor Country Club.

The members of the committee, which will expire at the end of this year, are: George Barrett, Peter Hasenfuss, Brett Labonte, Thomas Hannon and James Giberti.

Residents approved at the last Special Town Meeting the town’s purchase of Little Harbor Country Club. A request for proposals for future management companies was issued on the town website earlier this month, and proposals are due by April 7.

Separately, a request for proposals for an entity to hold the conservation restriction on the same land has also been released, and proposals are due by April 11.
