Foreclosure prevention event coming to Wareham Free Library

A foreclosure prevention seminar for residents in danger of losing their homes will take place at the Wareham Free Library on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is co-sponsored by NeighborWorks Southern Mass. and the Wareham Community and Economic Development Authority (CEDA).
Homeowners will have the opportunity to meet with counselors from NeighborWorks who will assist them is developing a plan to work with their lender to resolve the foreclosure.
Also on hand to offer advice to homeowners will be representatives from South Shore Housing, Turning Point Resource Center, and the Plymouth County Register of Deeds.
