Stephen Cooper, former linebacker for the San Diego Chargers and member of the Wareham High School class of 1997, will return to his hometown to deliver a motivational speech on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Cooper will be joined by his family and friends, as well as his former classmates, teammates, teachers and coaches, in the High School auditorium. 

The event will benefit the Wareham Athletic Boosters Program and the Simply You Foundation, which organizes assemblies, workshops and performances to inspire confidence and work ethic among young people.

Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
