Straight Blast Gym East Coast (formerly Nexus Martial Arts & Fitness) will conduct a free Bully Buster Bootcamp on Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. The seminar is open to all South Coast area families with children ages 5 and older.

The seminar will be led by instructor and child safety expert, Stephen Whittier. He is a former University educator and current member of the Wareham elementary school council.

Over the last decade he and his staff have conducted bully prevention programming and school talks for multiple school South Coast school systems as well as for the P.A.C.E. Child Care Works program.

In the Bully Buster Bootcamp, Whittier will share the tips and strategies for parents and their children to recognize the signs of bullying and provide kids with the tools to responsibly handle a range of bullying behaviors, including both psychological and physical.
