Free concert to benefit Damien's Food Pantry on July 18

Jul 3, 2017

Wareham musician Chris Coile will perform a free benefit concert for Damien’s Food Pantry on July 18 at the Fan Club, 2859 Cranberry Highway. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Joining Coile will be local singers and entertainers: Kellie Hajjar, Mark Darling, Debbie Bokelkamp and J. Meere.

Damien’s Place Food Pantry has served the area from Buzzards Bay to New Bedford since 1992. There are more than 100 local volunteers helping the 8,400 people who use the pantry. Damien’s provided more than 57,000 bags of food in 2016. The pantry provides food to anyone in need. All proceeds raised by the concert will be donated to Damien’s to defray the expenses of the facility.

The concerts are free, with no admission fee, cover or minimum. Donations to Damien’s are voluntary and donors receive free Chris Coile CDs.

Coile has been performing for more than 30 years. The concert will include hits from the 1950s through 1970s.
