Free educational advising available

Feb 5, 2013

Free educational advising is available to Wareham High School seniors, out-of-school youth, and adults.

Massachusetts College Access provides an array financial aid application assistance (FAFSA), college readiness workshops for families and students, educational counseling, career assessments, and other services. All services are free of charge.

Upcoming financial aid workshops will be held at the Wareham High School library on February 27, March 13, March 27, April 10, and April 24 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The deadline for on-time financial aid applications is May 1, and is important for students who wish to be considered for the maximum amount of aid for which they qualify.

Wareham High students may see Miss Feldman in the guidance office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for more information.

Out-of-school youth and adults may contact Barbara Sullivan at 508-209-3621 for information about individual appointments and scheduled workshops.

College Access is a project of the Colleges of the Worcester Consortium, Inc., in partnership with Seven Hills Behavioral Health, and is supported through the Mass. Department of Higher Education College Access grant program.
