Free trip for veterans to 'Troops in the Spotlight' in Hyannis
On Sunday May 29, veterans are invited to ride the CapeFLYER Veterans Train to the 12th Annal "Troops in the Spotlight" event in Hyannis.
The train will depart from South Station at 8 a.m. and arrive in Hyannis at 10:20 a.m. Veterans and their families may board on any stop from South Station to Hyannis, which includes the Wareham Village stop. Entertainment and a continental breakfast will be served on the train.
The CapeFLYER will depart from Hyannis at 6:40 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 9:02 p.m. During this time, the train will serve a light dinner provided by Blonde on the Run Catering with a special treat from Gourmet Brunch.
The event is led by Cape Cod Cares for the Troops. The 24-hour event begins on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and ends on Monday at 11:30 a.m.
