Free/low-cost Spay and Neuter programs set for February

The Animal Rescue League of Boston will provide a free/low-cost Spay and Neuter programs for Wareham residents at Petco on  February 4, 25, and 26.

The Spay Waggin will be at Petco on Feb. 4 and 25 to provide spay and neuter and shots for feral and in-home cats.

The Animal Rescue League will provide traps to get feral cats treated, spayed, and neutered and released back to their territory. The cost is free for feral or totally outdoor cats and $30 for indoor cats for low income families in Wareham. The fee for non-Wareham residents will be $75.

The Spay Waggin will be at Petco for dogs under 50 pounds on February 26. The cost is $150. A special program is available for pit bulls.
