Fun with the Gatemen at summer kick-off celebration
Jul 12, 2016
It was all fun and games in the middle of Wareham Crossing as children joined the Wareham Gatemen for the Summer Kick-Off Celebration on July 11.
From toddlers to teenagers, dozens of children got a chance to meet the players while playing games with them.
There was Jenga, hula hoops, baseball throws, basketball, street hockey and more. Children took their pictures with the Gatemen as well.
The night ended off with a screening of "The Sandlot," a film made in 1993 about a group of young boys playing baseball in the summer of 1962.
