Gateway Youth Hockey is looking for girls of all ages in the surrounding South Coast towns to come and try out for the all-girl hockey team.

Sign-ups and try-outs are Wednesday, March 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hetland Ice Arena in New Bedford.

This year the league was very fortunate, as it was the first year the league was able to have an all girl's team, something which many towns do not offer.
