George R. Sollows, 69, of Buzzards Bay, died Nov. 23, 2018 in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the son of the late Clifford F. and Alice (Hussey) Sollows.  

He was born in Boston and lived in Natick and Georgia before moving to Buzzards Bay.  He graduated from Natick High School and attended Greenfield Community College.

Mr. Sollows worked for the State of Georgia Bureau of Investigations as a K9 Trainer for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed sailing, horseback riding and dog training.

Survivors include his brother, William Sollows and his wife Elizabeth of Napa, CA; his cousins, Susan Burgess of Wayland, John Cole of Maine, Sarah Hussey, Sam Hussey, Jonathan Hussey; his aunt, Mary Marion of Scottsdale, AZ; his uncle, James Hussey of Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
