Get spooked at Bog Fright Night Oct. 21-23
Bog Fright Night V, the spooky annual event, will take place October 21-23 at A.D. Makepeace's Tihonet Village Market.
Scary wagon rides will travel through woods and bogs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wagon ride tickets are $5 with pre-paid reservations and $7 at the event.
More than 300 ghouls from the Onset Youth Center, Wareham Public Schools, and MA Children’s Relief, as well as community volunteers participate in Bog Fright Night. Wagon ride proceeds benefit the youth organizations coordinating the event.
Boy Scout Troop 93 will host a haunted hike during the event. On October 21, WCTV's new paranormal show, Phantom P.I., will be by. Fright Night attendees will be able to meet the area's new ghost hunting team on the bog. The team will sign autographs and take photos, as well as answer questions and listen to your own paranormal experiences.
Wagon reservations are highly recommended to avoid lines and secure a ride on the desired night. For tickets, visit Tihonet Village Market Tuesday through Saturday or call 508-295-5437 between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The wagons have become rolling birthday party sites. When making your reservation, let the organizers know if it is for a birthday party and the wagon master will join in!
Tihonet Village Market will be open during the haunting and offer coffee, hot chocolate, cider, bakery items, sandwiches, soups, desserts, Halloween candy, apples, pumpkins and gifts.
Bog Fright Night is sponsored by A.D. Makepeace, Edaville Railroad, and Jellystone Campground of Cape Cod.
