The Wareham High School varsity girls basketball team routed the visiting Seekonk Lady Warriors Friday night with a score of 68-30.

With this latest victory under their belts, Wareham's girls improve their record on the season to 7-0 (8-0, counting non-conference play) and move one step closer to bringing home a championship title.

The Warriors took the court under difficult circumstances -- not only were they away from home, their six-member team was down one player, leaving the remaining five to play every minute of the game.

Wareham led Seekonk by an average of 30 points throughout play. Putting big points on the board for the Lady Vikings were Breanna Muir, Alexis Silva and Ally Watkins, all of whom scored in the double digits.
