The Gleason Family YMCA will hold its 9^th Annual 5K Road Race at 10 a.m. this Saturday, May 14.  Runners and walkers will leave Onset Pier for a 3.1 mile race through Onset Village.

Registration is $22 for adults and $17 for children age 12 and under. Proceeds benefit the YMCA’s Annual Support campaign which provides financial aid for individuals and families who cannot afford membership fees, programs, or camp on their own.

JB Race will provide timing and results. Online registration can be completed at www.jbrace.com until 12 p.m. on May 13. Runners can also register at the Onset Pier on the day of the race until 9:30 a.m.

The top three male and female winners will receive cash prizes. First-place winners will receive $150, second-place winners receive $100, and third-place receives $75. Awards also go to top male and female finishers in each age group and to the top three walkers to finish course. The course is certified by the USA Track and Field Association.

After the race, refreshments will be provided by Marc Anthony’s Pizzeria, Dunkin Donuts, and Coca Cola of Cape Cod.
