A utility pole on Glen Charlie Road at approximately 10 p.m. last night, after being hit by a truck, according to NSTAR spokesman Mike Durand.

Approximately 1,800 customers in the area lost power initially, with power restored to 360 customers within two minutes.

Durand said that it took about seven-and-a-half hours for power to  be fully restored.
