Onset Bay will be dotted with neon paddlers Monday, Sept. 8 and Wednesday, Sept. 10 for the Onset Bay Center's annual Glow-in-the-Dark Paddle.

The free event for all ages begins at 7 p.m. with check in, equipment check and time to decorate the boats. Boats will launch from Onset Beach at 7:30 p.m. guided by Onset Bay Center staff.

The center will provide the boats and asks that guests provide their own glow decorations to lighten up themselves and their crafts. Participants may also bring their own board, kayak or other paddle craft.

Pre-registration is required in order to use the center's equipment, as space is limited, All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please make sure all glow items are safe and appropriate and affixed to the boats so as not to come off while in the water. Spectators are welcome to stay on the beach or pier and watch the paddlers as they parade around the bay.

Personal floatation devices are required to be worn at all times while on the water for all participants.

Rain dates are Tuesday, Sept. 9  Thursday, Sept. 11.
