The summer may be winding down, but golf is still going strong at Little Harbor Country Club.

In recent action, the Ladies held a Best 15 tournament.  In the field of 49 golfers, the threesome of Carol Gunnerson, Danielle Holmes, and Gail Sim came in first with a score of 30.  But it was a close match...Mary Ellen Ryder, Celeste Le Boeuf, Jackie Murray, and Mae Casey garnered a score of 31, as did the foursome of Lee Guerin, Nancy MacDuffee, Linda Mowles, and Marg Linehan, tying for second place.  Just a stroke behind in fourth place was the threesome of Lori Mello, Dyan Kieltyka, and Janet Perkins.

Closest to the pins were won by Nancy MacDuffee on hole 1, Kathy Farrahar on hole 3, Wendy Longo on hole 11, and Dyan Kieltyka on hole 17.

Meanwhile, 24 golfers turned out for the Men's Best Ball.  In first place was the foursome of Ray Campbell, Gene Buckley, Norm Lewis, and Bob Miller.  Johnny Yanuskiewicz, Frank Celli, Jim Culhane, and Jim McGill finished second.
