The 8th annual Louis Facchetti Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, September 17 at Southers Marsh Country Club in Plymouth. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Louis F. Facchetti Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Louis was a local businessman who started his own accounting and tax practice more than 41 years ago. Louis was also very active in the local community, belonging to numerous civic organizations and serving on several town committees. After Louis' passing in 1995, the memorial scholarship fund was set up to help assist a graduating Wareham senior going onto a business college.

Registration for the tournament will begin at 12 p.m. and will be followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost to participate is $120 per person, which includes a meal. Tee signs can be sponsored for $85.

Not a golfer and just want to come down and enjoy the festivities? You are more than welcome. The cost of the meal is $30 per person.
