Grace Morrison releases new single and video, 'America'

Nov 7, 2016

Grace Morrison has released the music video for her new single “America."

The video was filmed at the living history museum Plimoth Plantation, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. According to Grace: “The original settlement of the Plimoth Colony was the perfect location for the story of “America” to come to life – chasing the American dream and the struggles that we face to achieve it.”

Grace recruited the expertise of Boston's AMVCreative to direct the video. According to AMVCreative CEO Armen Varadian, “Grace's captivating stage presence and flawless vocals take only a back seat to her perpetual charm. The combination of laser focus and positive spirit makes her quite an exceptional musician and person.”

“America” is the first release off Grace’s forthcoming album "I’m the Apple." The song and album are being produced by Jon Evans of Brick Hill Studio.

“I’m thrilled to get to work with a producer who has performed with some many of my musical heroes including Paula Cole, Tori Amos, Ben Folds, and Sarah McLachlan,” said Grace.

“Making an album with Grace is a pleasure. With a crystal clear voice and songs that land squarely in your heart, Grace has something truly special,” said Mr. Evans. “Just spend 5 minutes with her stories and I know you'll agree.”

Grammy nominated recording engineer John Mailloux of Bongo Beach Productions mastered the single.

“Grace’s voice is a reflection of herself--pure and true. She is an incredible talent mixing seemingly effortless musicality and original storytelling in the Country Folk and Americana genres.”
