Grand opening celebration at Rosebrook Place

Jul 16, 2015

With the first month of the Rosebrook Farmers' Market on the books, a grand opening bash was held Wednesday to celebrate the quickly growing shops and services in Rosebrook Place.

After the Marriott TownePlace Suites opened in April, the A.D. Makepeace property on Route 28 by I-195 has seen the addition of a Five Guys Burgers and Fries Restaurant, as well as Rosebrook Wine and Spirits.

This summer, the Farmers' Market that was previously held at Tihonet Village was moved to Rosebrook Place. On Wednesday the market was filled not only with vendors, but also with live music, cooking demonstrations, special giveaways and more.

The market has been slow to get off the ground at the new location but there was something for everyone: music and balloon animals for kids and cooking demonstrations by two chefs for adults.

The Rosebrook Farmers' Market is free and open to the public and runs every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. through the summer.
