Dr. Greg Skomal, a member of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, will give a lecture and book signing on his book, “Chasing Shadows: My Life Tracking the Great White Shark.”

The lecture will take place from 1 to 2 p.m., with a book signing to follow, on Saturday, Jan. 20. It will take place at the Onset Bay Center, 186 Onset Avenue. 

The Nautical Whalers Parrot Head Club of Southern Massachusetts, an organization joining together people of similar interests who enjoy Jimmy Buffett’s music and philosophy, is putting on the event.
