Halloween arrives early at YMCA for 'Spooktacular'

Oct 30, 2016

The Gleason Family YMCA turned into a playground of spooky fun during it's Spooktacular on Oct. 28.

Arts and crafts, bouncy houses, a gymnasium playscape, a bean bag toss, musical chairs, haunted rock wall climb and Jenga were all activities little ghouls and goblins could participate in from 5 to 8 p.m.

Though the event was scheduled to also include Trunk-or-Treat, not enough cars signed up to throw the trick-or-treat alternative, where kids would've gone to cars with trunks filled with candy.

There was no shortage of candy inside the building however, and there were at least three trick-or-treating stations set up.
