Mrs. Weatherspoon is looking forward to teaching another year of "Come Step it Up," a free, after-school dance class that meets every Monday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Students learn dances from different cultures and perform at the end of the year. The program was very successful last year.

Minot Forest third graders from Mrs. Barry's class recently participated in a classroom science fair. The students completed four activities to culminate their study of the properties of matter. Students made ice cream, created a substance known as "goop," designed clay boats and tested how well they floated in water, and worked with windbags to observe the molecules of air. Thank you to the parent volunteers who helped with the fair.
