Tim Weisberg will present a lecture called, “Ghost: Legit or Legend?” at the Old Methodist Meeting House on November 19 at 7 p.m.

The lecture will explore theories and possible explanations of what ghosts are, and why so many people feel compelled to believe in an afterlife.

Weisberg, who hosts the radio show “Spooky Southcoast,” will also present evidence of haunting at places like the Fearing Tavern and other buildings, that was collected during the 2012 Haunted History Night.

Admission is free for members of the Wareham Historical Society, and $2 for the general public. The Old Methodist Meeting House is located at 495 Main Street in Wareham.
