The Friends' Rubber Duck Race is this Sunday, May 22 at the Tihonet Pond Canal at 150 Tihonet Road.

Duck Decorating will be from 11 am to 1 pm. Basic decorating supplies will be available. Or you can purchase your duck ahead of time at the Main Library, Spinney Library or the Cape Cod Five Cents Bank and decorate it at home. Adults and children are invited to decorate their ducks which will be judged and prizes in age categories will be awarded. Thanks go out to Kool Cone for donating $1 gift certificates for prizes and awards!!

Also from 11 am to 1 pm, games with prizes and face painting will provide family fun time. Back this year to entertain will be renowned local singer, songwriter, Mike Couto who is donating his performance to the event.

The race is at 2 pm.

Ducks may be purchased ahead of time or on site the day of the race. A single duck is $5. A Six Quack is $25, a Baker’s Dozen is $50. Or get a golden flock of 25 ducks for $100.
